The Llama Show
Each
year the Willamette Valley Llama Association holds a nationally sanctioned
llama show with over 200 animals. If you’ve ever been curious about
these intriguing animals, this is your chance to see and learn about raising
and handling them.
Educational information and demonstrations will feature how to care, feed
and shelter the animals; how to train llamas to be guards or pack animals;
and llama fiber usage by spinning or weaving. Vendors will have llama
tack and equipment for sale.
Competitions include obstacle courses, jumps, and cart pulling. For those
considering buying llamas, breeders will be available to share their knowledge
and experience of the industry.

Oregon Ag Fest is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization.
